What is Paracord?

Paracord, also known as parachute cord, is a rope often made from nylon or polyester. The name comes from its original use as the suspension lines of parachutes for paratroopers. It was first mass-produced in the United States during World War II. Today, it is manufactured and used worldwide, for example, to create our Adjustable Paracord with Stainless Steel Clasp.

Paracord Bracelet for Survival Use

Hiking and outdoor enthusiasts often wear survival bracelets made from several meters of intricately woven paracord. These bracelets are designed to be unraveled in emergencies and used for various applications, such as securing poles, fastening broken objects, or creating a belt. Sometimes, these bracelets are also combined with a D-clasp for added functionality.
